He was predeceased by: his father David Bassett; and his sisters, Judith B. Denham and Patricia B. Chitwood. He is survived by: his mother Joyce King Bassett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907).
