He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dorsey (Doris Tillman Dorsey) and David; and his sister Patricia Dorsey. He is survived by: his wife Earnestine Dorsey; his daughter Tammy Devlin; his siblings, Robert Dorsey and Myra Jean Dorsey; and his stepsister Gwendolyn "Candy" Tolbert.
