He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Heard and Essie Heard; his wife Bernice Heard; and his siblings, Willie Lee Palmer, King Heard and Doris Davis.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Star Williams (Calvin, Jr.), Danny Alexander (Gloria), Reginald Alexander and Lewis Walton; his siblings, Edith Stallings and Oree, Sr. Heard (Catheree); and his nieces, Debra Allen and Melonise Reese (Timothy). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
