It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Tomlinson of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 69, on March 29, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlin Matthew and Sarah Ruth Tomlinson; his brother Joseph Stanley Tomlinson; his sister-in-law Frances Tomlinson; and his mother-in-law Martha Ann Streetman.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Sarah Goodpaster (Ryan), Cayla Carnes (Justin) and Chris Wilkey (Teresa); his grandchildren, Brooks, Hayes Goodpaster, Lily Ann Carnes, Owen and Ryalee Wilkey; and his siblings, Phil Tomlinson (Anita), Tim Tomlinson and Ann Tomlinson Corbin (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, special family members and friends.

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required during the services.
