He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Puckett and Katherine Puckett (Kay); his siblings, Charles Stafford (Bud) and Charlotte Liss; and his brother-in-law John Liss.
He is survived by: his wife Susan B. Puckett; his sister Beverly Robinson; his niece Amber (Frankie); his great-niece Emma Grace Cascio; his aunt Gwendolyn Ott (Cedar); his cousin Greg Ott; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Bryan, James W Hunter, Eva Johnson, Bobby (Shirley) and Gail (Bobby). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
