With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eddie Watson of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eddie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Watson and Patsy McMahon Watson. He is survived by: his sister Elanie Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel (613 14th St, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
