He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Berdeaux and McAdoo Berdeaux; and his brother James Ferrell Berdeaux. He is survived by: his wife Carole Putnam Berdeaux; his children, Stephen Putnam, William Putnam (Laura) and Pamela Damren; and his sisters, Sylvia Montegomery and Gail Hooper. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
