As Elisabeth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Elisabeth. Though Elisabeth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johann Koch. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Cullefer (James) of Fortson; her granddaughter Savannah Williams (Ryan); her great grandchild Ruby of Rutledge, Tennessee; her son Greg Koch (Pam) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Matthew Koch of Nashville and Anna Koch of Brooklyn; and her siblings, Ingrid Krapp and Norbert Hofmann.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Columbus Hospice.
