She was predeceased by: her parents, Nehemiah Cunningham and Laura Cunningham; and her husband Edward Stokes. She is survived by: her brothers, Alfred Cunningham and Alfred Burke; her children, Anthony Lavon White (Arlinda), Keith B. White (Linda), Donald Lee Williams (Lelitha) and Tonya Burts (Sammie); and her siblings, Arthur B. Cunningham (Ernestine), Mary Allen, Mae Lasley (Anthony), Dovie Cunningham, Polly Cunningham and Lenny Burke.
