Etta Dykes Langley Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hayes Dykes, Sr. and Natilu McKenney Dykes; her siblings, Natilu Averett and Sid Dykes, Jr. (William D. Langley); and the father of her children Joe Biggers Blackmon.
She is survived by: her children, Bardie Brady (Rem), Joe Blackmon, Jr. and Dykes Blackmon (Meghan); her grandchildren, McKenney Spence (Matt), Rem Brady (Amy), Lawson Brady, Bright Blackmon, Bo Blackmon and Loulie Blackmon; her great grandchildren, Brady Spence, Cannon Spence and Bo Brady; Leigh Davis (Rece), Bob Maughon (Dianne), Christopher Davis, Elizabeth Davis Poulter (Nate), Andrew Maughon and Lauren Maughon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Paul Church of Columbus (2101 Wildwood Ave, Columbus, GA 31906). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
