With sadness, we share the passing of Eva Gibbons of Columbus, Georgia. Eva, born on August 10, 1960, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lomawaima and Thelma Yazzie. She is survived by: her daughters, Tasha Gibbons and Christine Mobley; her grandchildren, Kayla Loyd, Michael Mobley III, Jackson McCart and Elise "Ronny" McCart; her siblings, Lameul Sulu, Mianna Tyler, Dorothy Sulu and Aldora Scott; her great grandchild Justin Pino Jr.; her nieces, Roxanne Yazzie-Kitts and Brenda Scott-Hurtado; and her nephew Richard Scott.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the City Gate Church (4602 US-80, Phenix City, AL 36870).
