Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hutwagner and Marie Hutwagner. She is survived by: her significant other H. "Bubba" Hassani of Columbus; her grandchildren, Morgan Paige Barker, Alexandria "Alle" Terese Barker, Mya Lane Ammons and Beau Hayden Ammons; her great grandchild Vera Lynn Owens; and her daughters, Charlotte Lynne Lane of North Augusta and Amy Melissa Lane of Columbus, Georgia.
