She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduarda Cortez and Pedro Collazo; and her husband Astol Ortiz-Santiago. She is survived by: her children, Luz E. "Lucy" Salazar (Ralph "Jon" Salazar) and Hector Luis Santiago (Deborah Ann Santiago); her stepdaughters, Adelina and Maria Isabel Santiago; her brothers, Luis Collazo and Samuel Collazo; and her grandchildren, Jon-Jason Salazar (Glenda Salazar), Loni Bachiller (Daniel Bachiller) and Hector Luis Santiago.
