He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Chamberlain and Edna V. Chamberlain; and his sister Nell Chamberlain Woods. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hill Chamberlain; his niece Meredith Woods Carpenter (Chris); his nephews, Matt Lane (Ellen) and Mitchell Lane (Kristina); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikayla, Hadley, Carter, Caleb, Eliza, Austin, Mary Ellen, Voncile and Victor; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Lane (Larry) and Harold Hill (Kaye).
