With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frieda Joyce (Parker) Jarrett of Columbus, Georgia, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on July 7, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband William Devereaux Jarrett, Sr. (W. D.); her parents, George Thomas Parker and Georgia Bowen Parker; her son William Devereaux Jarrett, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tamra Jarrett; and her siblings, Anita Vermillion, Faye Tyre and Marvin Parker.
She is survived by: her son Larry Jarrett of Meansville; her daughter-in-law Birdie Jarrett of Columbus; and her sister-in-law Betty Middlebrooks of Columbus. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
