He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Davis McCrory and Louise White McCrory; his wife Julia Ann McCrory (White); and his brothers, Vance, Billy, Bruce and Roger.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald McCrory (Toni) and Angela Marie McCrory; his grandchildren, Brad Smith, Sr., Sky McCrory (Kristina), Russell Davis McCrory, Sr. (Keisha), Brianna Hofstadt (Daniel) and Heather Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Noah Hilliker, Bradley Thomas Smith, Jr., Russell Davis McCrory, Jr., Kaiden Rivers and Cameron Rivers.
