She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucinda Jones Sanks and Richard Lee Crowell; and her siblings, Mary Sanks, Bertha Lee Sanks Edmond and David Sanks.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Smith, Sr.; her children, Katrina Watson (Christopher), Eugene "Darell" Smith and Jacinda Lashae Smith; her grandsons, Christopher Watson, Jr. and Christian Watson; and her sister Fannie Mae Sanks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
