Helen White Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen White in Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Helen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Helen leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth White; and her parents, Robert James Walters and Helen Katherine Walters (Olsen). She is survived by: her friends, Jan Underdown and Linda George; her son Chris McIlvaine (Stephanie) of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Will McIlvaine and Sam McIlvaine; and her siblings, Diane Lewis of Dallas, TX and Bob Walters of Loxley, AL.. She is also survived by extended family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace Church, 7211 Britton Drive, Columbus, GA 31904, in honor of Helen's memory.
