He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and friends.

“Herman and I worked together in New York in 1976 in a printing factory when we were both about 19. He was a lot of fun, a hard worker and made everyones life a little brighter. I regret that I didn't think to use the internet to find him sooner. I searched for him today only to find out that he had passed. I imagined that we'd get to reconnect and share memories of those days and make new ones. I'm disappointed but I'm happy to see that he lived a good life and was loved and well respected. Rick A.”
