He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James Davis, Sr. and Vera Ellen Bush. He is survived by: his children, Ambrey Mitchell and Nichole Holden; and his siblings, Alvin T. Davis (Mary Alice), Charles E. Willis (Correta), Barbara Mack (Richard), Sheryl Moore and Princess Willis.
