He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hawkins Collins; his daughters, Margaret Collins Boltja (Stephen), Laura Collins Allen (Tom) and Chandler Collins (Julian Singer); and his grandchildren, Bo Allen (Redding), Maggie Allen, Emma Allen and Athens of Georgia.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (1130 1st Ave, Columbus, GA 31901).
