He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Margaret Leaman, John Culpepper (Willie) and Lois M. Williams; and his uncles, John and James Leaman.

He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Leaman and Martha Ann Culpepper Leaman of Phenix City, AL; his daughters, Brandee Leaman (Kelcie) of Columbus, GA and Julee Leaman of Columbus, GA; his siblings, Theresa Meroney (Mike) of Jasper, GA, Jeffrey "Jeff" Leaman (Rena) of Phenix City, AL and Richard "Ricky" Leaman of Brent, AL; his aunts, Brenda Royal (Dan), Elaine Walsh and Tammy Leaman; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Summer, Heather (Andrew), Danita (Stephen), Elizabeth (Matt), Eric, James (Jami Jo) and John; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella, Rosalia, Tatum, Kensley, Katelyn, Braylin, Analeigh, Bryson, Dalton, Aiden, Austin and Braxton. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
