He was predeceased by: his parents, Sirman Wellington Avera (Red) and Janet Avera. He is survived by: his sister Marianne Ethridge (Jim) of Fortson, GA; his daughter Ashlee Tate (Jason) of Midland, GA; his grandson Matthew Tate; his niece Leanne (Bubba) of Duluth, GA; and his nephew Jimmy Ethridge of Conyers, GA. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
