He is survived by: his children, Toni Killingsworth (Wesley) and James Sweeney III (Portia); his siblings, Bruce Sweeney and Linda Morris; his grandchildren, Kaleb Theriault, Caleb Killingsworth, Kinsley Elliot and Athens Killingsworth; and his great grandchildren, Alexandrea Sweeney, Francis Sweeney, Trent Sweeney and Maddison Sweeney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, St. Elmo Room (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
