He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton and Francis; and his brother Nigel Adams. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Adams; his children, Josh Adams (Janel) and Lauren Whitt (Gabriel); his sisters, Debra Honaker and Cheryl Stratigos; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Serena, Luke and Leo.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Jeff's honor to Camp Swamp Fox and St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
