Jerome Range wrote a sympathy message

“Jimmy was a kind and generous man. I got to know him thru golf. Us Texas boys vs. the Georgia boys had an annual challenge match for over 13 years. He had a smile and a laugh that was unforgettable. And his stories and one liners made us all laugh out loud. He was a true friend, one you know if you needed anything, he would be the first in line to help. He will be missed greatly by Katie, his family, and his friends. God Bless You Jimmy. Your Texas friend, Jerry Range”
