It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ellison Sr. (Columbus, Georgia), who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joe Ellison and Annie Slaughter.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church (3000 12th Ave, Columbus, GA 31904). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the Green Acres Cemetery.
