He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry John Posey and Sally Geiger Posey-Brinkley; and his stepfather Jack T. Brinkley. He is survived by: his wife Paula Spencer Posey; his children, Chris Posey of Tifton, Sarah Reeves (Patrick) of Columbus and Rachel Posey of Columbus, Georgia; his grandchildren, Connor Reeves (Zowie), Livia Posey, Lana Reeves, Anna Kate Reeves and Breelyn Reeves; his siblings, Cindy (David) and Paul (Helen); his aunt Adleyn Scott; and his brother-in-law Steve Spencer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; cousins; and countless dear friends.
