He was predeceased by: his father John David Mitchell, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Brown; his daughter Lakeshia Williams; and his siblings, Desjarles Bright, Fredrick Mitchell (Stella) and Rosalind Hall (Lorenzo). He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
