He was predeceased by: his sister Victoria; his in-laws, J. P. and Mona Allen; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Patricia Cottle.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his sons, John III (Ashley), Christopher Allen (Muriel) and Michael Wesley Drew; his brother Thomas E. Drew; his sister-in-law Barbara D. Drew; his nephew Thomas E. Drew Jr.; his niece Terri D. Massa; his grandchildren, Christopher, Savannah, John IV, William, Mary Elizabeth and Lucille; and his pet Sweetie.
