He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Boddie and Dollie Boddie; his children, Nicole J. Bond, Charles J. Boddie (Natalie) and Jonathan D. Boddie; his sister Mary Boddie Floyd (Willie); and his close friend Dessie Mahone. He was also cherished by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
