He is survived by: his wife Sally Kimbrough Walden; his children, Sarah Kimbrough Walden and John William Walden III (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Sarah Walden Bickerstaff, Charlotte Kimbrough Bickerstaff and Walker Reynolds Bickserstaff, Jr.; his sister Amelie Walden Walker (Joseph); his sibling's children, Wynne Walker Lowery (Scott), Juliette Walker Reynolds (Michael) and Joseph Spencer Walker III (Rosette); and his caregivers, Angela Huguley, Virginia Marshall, Raymond Leonard, Tracy Morris, Dimitria Dunlap, Michael Armstrong and Osborn Chimanikire. He is also survived by father, and grandfather whose love for his family.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (1130 1st Ave, Columbus, GA 31901).
