He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Bruton and Thelma Bruton; his son Brantley Bruton, Sr.; his grandson Brantley "BJ" Bruton Jr.; and his siblings, James Bumper (Lily) and Earlstine Mahone (Ross).
He is survived by: his wife Arlease "Lisa" Bruton; his sons, Bradley Bruton (Tonya) of Spring Hills, Scottie Bruton (Bridgette) of Phenix City and Maurice Bruton of Waco, Texas; his grandchildren, Shawn, Malina, Brittney, Keianna, Kendall, Courtnie, Breawna and Ariawna; and his siblings-in-law, Roscoe Gatson (Marilyn), Gerry Gatson, Nettie Malone and Louise Gatson. He is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
