It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Armstrong Hood of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Allen Shelby Hood Sr. (Al) of Albany, GA; her children, Shelby Hood of Columbus, GA and Leslie; her children-in-law, Terry Ethridge (Preston) of Dothan, AL and Summer Hood of Fayetteville, GA; her grandchildren, Joshua Martin, Dalton Hood, Seth Hood, Katlin Manning and Zander Hood; her great grandchild Christian Martin; her sister Bonnie Ruth; and her siblings-in-law, Hale Vanoy and Harriett Hood Giglio. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
