He was predeceased by: his mother Deland B. Jackson; and his brother Jesse Banks. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Phillips (Camarie), Takela Cochran, Tameka Williams and Christopher Nelams; his sisters, Mary Rutledge and Consuela Horton (Micheal); and his niece Shamicia Rutledge. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
