It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Oscar Pate Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Pate. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Hunt Pate of Columbus, GA; his children, Vicky Blaxton (Mark) of Columbus, GA and Jody Pate (Tracy) of Columbus, GA; his grandchildren, Brittney Peterson (Perry) of Phenix City, AL, Bethany Bechdolt (James) of Columbus, GA, Jacob Pate (Autumn) of Lizella, GA and Amanda Pate of Atlanta, GA; and his great grandchild Priscilla Bechdolt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
