We bid farewell to Joyce Neva Wilson Chalmers of Columbus, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2026 at the age of 94. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Parker Wilson and Katie Lee Penny Wilson; her husband Louis A. Chalmers Sr.; her son Andrew Shawn Chalmers; her siblings-sisters, Nollie Chalk, Lera O'Neal, Louise Turner, Flo Bailey and Marguerite Carlton; and her brothers, Raymond Wilson, Almon Wilson and Bland Wilson.

She is survived by: her sons, Louis A. Chalmers Jr. and James (Jimmy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
