He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Griffin and Connie Pitts Griffin; and his siblings, Jarrett "Mickey" Griffin, Randy Griffin, Calvin Griffin, Bobby Griffin and Linda Griffin Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Griffin Lewis (Lee); his grandchildren, Matthew Logan Lewis, Lauren Elby Knight, Johanna Leigh Lewis, Hudson, Harper, Sadie, Brody Lewis, Jobe and Jonah Knight; his son David Adam Griffin; his grandchildren, Chelsey Cooper, Megan Griffin, Shawn David O'Neal Griffin, Kaydince, Aubrey, Aaleigha, Claire, Jeremiah, Neveah and Christian Mateo; and his siblings, Horace "Chick" Griffin, Jerry Griffin of Toccoa, GA, Mary Cordell of Toccoa, GA and Dee Ann Griffin of Toccoa, GA. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
