She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey M. Thorpe and Addie Mae Kirkland Thorpe; her husband Jerry Larue Snell; and her siblings, Ann Thorpe Stuart and Mitchell Thorpe.
She is survived by: her children, Libby White (Chris White) and Christopher Langdon Snell; and her granddaughter Emma Catherine White. She is also survived by aunts, and uncle, beloved nieces' nephews, cousins, and many friends.
