She was predeceased by: her parents, Gillespie Thacker Cargill and Joan Wood Freeman Cargill; and her sister Kay Cargill Ellison. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Alan Brown; her children, Amanda Kay Brown (Nasser) and Alan Brown (Kenzie); her brother Gillespie Cargill (Kelly); her grandchildren, Kaylee and Kenlan; and her cousin John Ralston Cargill, IV (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
