She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Pearce Andrews and Tom Andrews, Jr.; her husband Rupert A. Triplitt; and her sisters, Augusta Burrus, Isabel Triplitt and Mabel Andrews.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Triplitt (Barbara), Claire T. Lambdin, Tom Triplitt (Diane) and Katharine Carter (John); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Jordan (Baker), Andy Triplitt (Lesley), Pearce Butcher (Jonathan), Tracy Alewine (Jared), Katie Carter, Will Carter (Danielle), Andrea Bridgeman (Jay), Mamie Lambdin and Trip Carter. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
