With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Cosby of Columbus, Georgia, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. F. Cosby and Verna Turner Cosby; his wife Betty Jean Cosby; his daughter Angela Pennington; and his stepdaughter Charlotte McDaniel Stone Pope.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Cosby, Mike Cosby and Richie Cosby (Tara); his stepchildren, Brenda McDaniel Smith (Charlie "Bo") and Glen McDaniel (Melinda); and his son-in-law Dan Pope. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great -great grandchildren.
