She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Juana Escobedo Tapia; her husband Jack Bies; her sons, Javier Tapia (Marissa) of Tampa and Jared Bies of El Paso; her siblings, Yolanda Tapia (Isaias) of Mexico and Marco Tapia (Angelica) of Mexico; and her grandchildren, Micah, Xavier, Kontessa and Lukas.
