With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lori Mitchell of Columbus, Georgia, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jerome "Lefty" Jarka. She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany Flores (Felix) and Jessica Jarka; her grandchildren, Kensley and Bella; and her siblings, Charmian Kalk, Melony Jarka and Kerry Jarka.

She donated to ASPCA regularly, and cared for any cat who needed it.
