It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Philip Seifert of Columbus, Georgia, born in Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Seifert; his daughter Madolin Kolvig; his parents, Oswald Seifert and Agnes Seifert; and his siblings, John, Albert, Harold, Urban of Robert, J. R. and Thomas Seifert.

He is survived by: his sons, Keith Seifert (Dana), Louis Seifert (Terry) and Kenny Kubera; his son-in-law Peter Kolvig; his siblings, Helen Vadala, Ruthie Wood, William Seifert (Nancy) and David Seifert; his grandchildren, Haley Mann (David), Katrina O'Bryan (Stacy), Keira Oliver (Robert), Devyn Wilson (Logan), Dale Kolvig (Holly), Keith Kolvig, Lance and Shaun Seifert; and his sisters, Mary Kirkwood Babb, Margaret Kinn, Dolores Szablewski, Dorothy Magers and Alice Magers. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
