We are sad to announce that, on September 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Lurlene Horton of Columbus, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Rodgers and Nona Taylor Rodgers; her husband Donny Ray Horton, Sr. (Harold Knox); and her sons, Darrell Wayne Adkins and Don Horton.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Avery, Donna Cadena (Jack), Donny Ray Horton (Red) and Brenda Adkins; her grandchildren, Lee Bruner, Joshua Mathis (Penni), Matthew Avery, Crystal Avery, Alana Wilson (Donald), Caleb Horton (Rachael) and Alex Horton; her great grandchildren, Caden Avery, Madelyn Mathis, Helena Mathis and Ryder Mathis; and her siblings, Brenda Lanier, Wayne Rodgers and Murlene Davis.

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the funeral service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.
