He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Phillips and Voncile Devore Phillips; and his siblings, Michelle Phillips, Mike Phillips and Mitch Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Phillips of Columbus, GA; his daughter Mindy Phillips of California; his stepdaughter Cathryn Willmschen of Columbus, GA; and his granddaughter Monica Garcia of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the memorial service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.
