She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Whaley and Wilbur Wood; her husband John Richardson Hunt; and her siblings, Clarence Wilbur Wood of San Antonio and Carolyn Wood of Eagle Harbor, Michigan..
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Huddleston Hunt of Decatur, Margaret Melissa Hunt Redding of Columbus and Susan Katherine Hunt Kelly of Tallahassee, Florida; her daughter-in-law Maureen Hunt of Largo, Florida; her grandsons, Jesse Hunt Redding of Prattville, Benjamin Dallas Redding of Columbus and Matthew Taylor Hunt (Marina) of Arlington, Virginia.; and her siblings-in-law, Dr. Joseph Benjamin Hunt of San Diego, California, Josephine Hunt Mills of Austin, Texas, Mary Hunt Bartlett of Fort Valley, Georgia and Jean Wood of San Antonio, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cuthbert United Methodist Church P. O. Box 449 Cuthbert, GA 39840, the building fund of Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church in Midland, Georgia, or the Andrew College General Fund.
