She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula B. Bowden and John Henry Battles; her siblings, Leila Culpepper, Sara Tucker, Hubert Battles, Ed Battles and Boyd Battles; and her sister-in-law Robbie (Delores Battles).
She is survived by: her spouse W. T. Lewis; her children, Randy Lewis (Terrie) of Montezuma, Georgia, Rhonda Barnett (Jon) of Bowling Green and Mark Lewis (Cathy) of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Kimberly Barnett, Kevin Barnett (Kadee Lund), Erik Lewis and Desmond Lewis; and her siblings-in-law, Lavon Culpepper, Jack Tucker and Dot Battles.
