It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Elizabeth Bouchard Cargill of Columbus, Georgia, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred George Skelton and Mary Alexander Skelton; her stepmother Clarkie Davis Skelton; her husbands, J. Edward Bouchard and Thacker G. Cargill; and her siblings, Mary Skelton Burdick, Ann Skelton Windsor and Winfred George Skelton, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Cantey Bouchard of Columbus, GA and Jennifer Tommaso of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Anna Tommaso and Will Tommaso of Charlotte, NC; her sister Joan Skelton of Asheville, NC.; her nieces, Leigh Stewart (Jon) of Columbus, GA, Mary Brabner (Steve) of Spanish Fort, AL, Sharon Burdick of North Hollywood, CA, Mary Brown of Orange, CA and Sandra Burdick; her nephew Dick Windsor (Suzanne) of Huntsville, AL; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth Brown of Orange, CA, Olivia Jones (Garrett) of Nashville, TN, Alex Windsor of Atlanta, GA, Lane Brabner of Atlanta, GA and Cole Brabner (Haley) of Stockton, AL; and her sister-in-law Bitsy Windsor of Columbus, GA..
